Our Conservation Efforts
WILD Zoological Park’s Conservation Efforts
At WILD Zoological Park, conservation is at the heart of everything we do. We are dedicated to protecting wildlife both in our care and in the wild, ensuring that future generations can continue to experience the incredible diversity of our planet. Our efforts focus on supporting global conservation initiatives, educating the public, and actively contributing to species survival through breeding programs.
Our Conservation Partnerships
We are proud to support The Macaw Recovery Network, VulPro, and ABConservation, three incredible organizations working tirelessly to protect some of the world’s most vulnerable species.
The Macaw Recovery Network
Focuses on saving endangered macaws in Costa Rica and beyond by restoring habitats, monitoring wild populations, and engaging local communities in conservation.
VulPro
A leading organization in vulture conservation, working to rehabilitate injured birds, establish breeding programs, and educate the public on the importance of vultures in the ecosystem.
ABConservation
Dedicated to protecting the Palawan Binturong, one of the world’s most elusive and endangered mammals, through research, habitat protection, and anti-poaching initiatives.
How We Engage the Public in Conservation
We believe that education is the key to conservation. By inspiring visitors to care about wildlife, we can create a lasting impact on global efforts to protect animals. Throughout WILD, we engage the public in conservation.
Educational Experiences
Our interactive encounters and live shows allow guests to connect with animals up close. Every animal at WILD serves as an ambassador for its wild counterparts, helping to challenge misconceptions and provide up-to-date information about conservation projects.
Donation Collection
We provide opportunities for visitors to directly support our conservation partners by donating at various points around the park. Every contribution helps fund vital research, habitat protection, and species recovery programs worldwide.
Conservation Breeding Programs
WILD plays an active role in protecting endangered species by participating in breeding programs and providing specialist care for vulnerable animals. By ensuring the survival of key species in human care, we contribute to the long-term sustainability of wildlife populations.
Conservation in Action
At WILD, conservation isn’t just a concept—it’s something we put into action every single day. Whether it’s through our breeding initiatives, hands-on education programs, or fundraising efforts, we are committed to making a difference.
By visiting WILD Zoological Park, you’re not just experiencing an incredible wildlife adventure—you’re joining a global movement to protect animals and their habitats for future generations.
