Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas out there!

Now might be the perfect day to tentatively share some news with you!

Take a close look at these pictures of our gorgeous pair of Asian short clawed otters Louie and Mara!

You’ll see Mara is a bit of a barrel on legs and we’re very excited that she is indeed expecting!!!

Now she is a first time mama and sometimes the first pregnancy for Asian short clawed otters is not successful so we’re trying not to get over excited. We’ve been in two minds whether or not to share the news! However she’s due any day and we’ll keep you posted! We’re hoping for a pitter patter of little otter feet soon!
