We demonstrate a Barn Owl’s remarkable directional hearing by training it to respond to a soft buzzer cue, replicating how it might detect the movements of prey beneath leaves or snow. The flight to the buzzer allows the owl to fully engage its natural quartering flight style, using the same muscles and instincts it would in the wild — agile, powerful, and quiet as moonlight.

Burrowing Owl: Small Owl, Big Personality

Our Burrowing Owls showcase their ground-based lifestyle with training to move through tunnels or dig in soft sand, offering a window into their natural behavior. Playful and highly curious, they remind us that survival often comes down to adaptability and ingenuity.
